Jake Bugg (born Jacob Edwin Kennedy 1994 in Nottingham is an English singer songwriter. His work is influenced by Jason Donovan, Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, Bob Dylan and The Beatles.

From the heart of Nottingham comes the precociously talented Jake Bugg.

Discovering music through a Don McLean song he heard whilst watching the Simpsons, his is a very modern folk tale. With a musical diet consisting of Dylan, Glen Campbell, Wiz Khalifa and more, its eclectic as it is unique.

Newly signed to Mercury, his tales of growing up and friendship, sharply observed, are set to make him the troubadour to watch in 2012.
