What are some of the "headquarters" "bombarded" in this album?
Each song in this album represents different "headquarters." For example, in the song titled "Your So-Called Freedom and Democracy," the "bombarded headquarters" is neoliberalism that is oftentimes presented as the "universal value" of "liberal democracy." Although the name of the album might come off as serious in tone, songs like "Paolyta B" show that this album has a relaxed side as well.
The GPCR was a time during which amateur artists flourished - ordinary people were given platforms where they could share their artwork. Reading about this struck a sympathetic chord in Xiangyu. Though he does not claim to be some sort of great artist, he nonetheless dedicates much time and effort on his music as very few things in life bring him the same kind of happiness that making music does.
