Fi-Né, a captivating musical duo, originated in Florida, United States, during the summer of 2016. The duo comprises Suzy Lee Pei Xian, a singer-songwriter and keyboardist from Taipei, and Philip D'Avilar, a talented drummer and rapper with Panamanian and Guyanese roots. Their musicality thrives on an eclectic fusion of hip-hop, jazz, pop, R&B, rap, and electronic elements. Through their lyrics, which gracefully interweave both Chinese and English languages, Fi-Né shares their introspective emotions and reflections on the world. The ethereal female vocals harmoniously blend with Philip's dynamic rap, producing a truly distinctive and refreshing sound signature for Fi-Né.

Philip's upbringing in the United States cultivated his diverse background of Panamanian and Guyanese heritage. With a passion for music since childhood, he honed his drumming skills and ventured into rap at the age of 14. Over the years, he explored various genres like jazz, punk rock, heavy metal, hip-hop, R&B, and even played percussion instruments for Classical Symphonic Orchestras, amassing over fifteen years of performing experience. Philip pursued his music production and engineering studies at Full Sail University and later interned at Electric Lady Studios in New York. At the time, Electric Lady worked with various artists such as Adele, U2, Usher, The Roots and Lorde. Through collaborations with Song Nian-Yu (Xiao Yu), Ah Fu, Haezee, Victor Keril, Ric Jan ,Midi Yang , ILL Mo, and many other artist’s from Taiwan, Philip began his journey intertwined with Taiwanese music, enriching his musical tapestry even further.

Suzy embarked on her musical journey at a tender age, learning classical piano and delving into composition at just seven years old. She commenced her professional career as a studio assistant at Lights Up Studio and later worked in the music production department at Avex Taiwan. Suzy's remarkable talents led her to join concert tours alongside renowned artists like A-Lin, Shin, and Xiao Yu. Her contributions extended to the trendsetting music scene, including collaborations on children's music albums and acclaimed projects with cellist Fan Zong-Pei. In 2013, Suzy ventured to the United States to study animation while concurrently showcasing her musical prowess by forming a band. With over a decade of performing experience, she currently thrives as an AR (augmented reality) art designer, complementing her musical endeavors.
