Lu Luming was born in 1982 in Pingtug City, Taiwan. He is an award winning  film/TV/Theatre music composer in Asia.  
 
He was the winner of ‘Best Music and Sound’ for the 2017 ‘Golden Bell Awards’(Taiwan’s Emmy’s) for the TV thriller series ‘Close your eyes before it gets dark’. He was also the composer for a UK/Taiwan co-production award-winning feature film ‘The Receptionist’ (2017), starring Chen Shiang-Chyi, Joshua Whitehouse, executive-produced by Damian Jones. 
His most recent composing work was for the critically acclaimed ‘Xiao Mei’ (2018) which was selected for this year’s ‘Berlinale’ in Germany.  

Luming excels in both traditional orchestral scoring and electronic/synth based work.  He has a recognisable and unique style, with the ability to marry the right instrumentation and feeling to a picture, to fit seamlessly with the vision of the director.

 
Luming is eager to collaborate with directors from different countries and cultural backgrounds, believing he could be inspired by other composers and musicians he works with.
