Katharine McPhee also known as Katharine Hope McPhee is an American pop singer, song writer and actress. She started her career as a contestant on season 5 of American idol, which she would eventually finished as first runner up behind the winner Taylor Hicks.Katharine released her first self titled debut album in 2007. It featured the first single Over It, which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Top 100 singles chart and the album peaked at number 2 on the billboard top 200 album charts. The album went on to sell 500 000 copies.Now she has recorded some of her favourite Christmas songs for her third album titled Christmas Is The Time.To Say I Love You, to be released by Verve Forecast.
