Lady Aneessa has come out on a superior note with “Ce soir”

Lady Aneessa is back with a vengeance. Her new music is funky, fresh, innovative, cool and very hot! The French Pop star’s latest album, “Ce soir” is a mixture of R&B, smooth soul, pop, and electro. It sounds like her best work to date with a great collection of smoldering, sultry grooves.
Many people also know her as Anya Rose who has churned out a myriad of EDM club bangers, but here she is simply Lady Aneessa the sweltry French singer.
There are some very cool, slick sounds on this new 14-track album. The opening and title track, “Ce soir”, is incredibly passionate to me. Lady Aneessa’s soulfulness is really showcased with some fantastic background urban sounds.

Without a doubt this girl is burning. From the first note to the last, Lady Aneessa maintains complete control as she presents herself from balladeer to smoky soul singer to pop diva to R&B crooner. “Ce soir” has got it all.
Every track is so solid that it is hard to pick a favorite – “I Am A Woman” is a declaration of maturation and independence. “Sur mes terres” should be getting tremendous attention and airplay on R&B radio stations – and it probably would had it been in English.
The collaborative efforts with B.Carter on “No Matter” and Jizz on“Devenir quelqu’un” with its rhythmic sounds are sure to be favorites on the club scene with various remixes. And who can forget the bouncy “Rendez-vous” or the sultry anthem “Tout recommencer”. There’s also the thumping beat and acid attitude of “Non non non” and the dance flavor of “Ce soir (Calectro Remix)” which is a damn good song all-around.
Lady Aneessa works each song with a sense of professionalism and confidence. The album is infectious and despite the fact of the language barrier -with most of the songs being sung in French – it should garner the praises of many critics. All 14 tracks are high quality and diverse enough to keep the album from ever becoming boring.
Lady Aneessa has really come out on a superior note with this album. She has the hybrid gift of combining the grit and the sultry. She will get you to dance, then chill out and then get engrossed in the free flowing melodies of her songs. And when she sings: “After 8am stress sitting in a cage, I have to turn the page, in a lounge bar somewhere together with my evening friends”, you know that “Ce soir” should be the soundtrack to that evening!
