Afiq Hakim Ahmad, better known as Akim (born January 18, 1991) was a student of the seventh season of Akademi Fantasia. He is now living in Johor Bahru, Johor. His fan club named Gerakan Penyokong Afiq Hakim (GAFIM).
Akim or full name Afiq Hakim Ahmad received in the seventh season of Akademi Fantasia and he was one of fourteen students selected candidates to enter the Academy Fantasia having weathered various tests at every stage of auditions.
He also was one of the students who made it to the end of the seventh season together with Hafiz, Aril, Yazid and Isma. On May 16, 2009, he was named the third place winner of Akademi Fantasia Season 7.
Once out of the Academy Fantasia, Akim popular with first single namely " Bengang" and has won the Award of Most Downloaded Song during AJL24 Hotlink ago. Now the second single of his own creation he has came out, titled " Inilah Cinta" and the song has become the theme song for Wall's Cornetto ad with the theme of Take A Chance Show Your Love.Akim has also issued a 'single'nya the 3rd now (2011) namely “Iaitu Janji “are created by himself and a drama OST on TV3, is Begitukah Cinta slot Akasia.
