Jake Bugg (born Jacob Edwin Kennedy 1994 in Nottingham is an English singer songwriter. His work is influenced by Jason Donovan, Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, Bob Dylan and The Beatles.

Discovering music through a Don McLean song he heard whilst watching the Simpsons, his is a very modern folk tale. With a musical diet consisting of Dylan, Glen Campbell, Wiz Khalifa and more, its eclectic as it is unique.

Talking about Bugg and his debut Clash hailed the "precocious talent fusing retro folk with blistering contemporary rock riffs". On 21 October 2012 the song "Two Fingers" charted at #33 in the UK while his eponymous album reached number one in the UK charts.
