2008年的暑假，三個原先以各自獨特步調向前邁進的音樂人，決定攜手組成一支頑皮活潑、富實驗精神且勇於冒險犯難的隊伍──饒舌團體SmashRegz/違法;便在此契機下應運而生。
Regz 即 Regulations規則之意，SmashRegz/違法 的創作宗旨在於打破成規 ，他們把矛頭指向那些僵固且單一化的觀念，以多變、流動的韻律與修辭作為音樂機器，將種種腐朽事物打碎為微粒後，堆聚排列，組件並生產出風格化的饒舌樂作品。
聆聽SmashRegz的音樂，不會只是單純且被動的聽覺接收；相反地，它邀請你一同進入這片不被既定疆界劃分、如游牧般自由無拘的新大陸，主動置身其中，參與它、創造它──那將會為你帶來一系列顛覆視野的叛變與革命！

In the summer of 2008, three artists, each with their own unique creative formulas, joined forces and formed SmashRegz. As a portmanteau of the words “smash” and “regulations,” the implications are quite apparent. Through the process of creative destruction, these three artists have challenged the monotony of the music industry through their dynamic rhythms and rhymes, ultimately forming a unique and revolutionary philosophy. To truly experience SmashRegz, you cannot simply listen passively—you must fully immerse yourself into uncharted musical territories and participate in their mission to expand horizons. The revolution to overturn and reconstruct the perceived status quo of music begins now!
