In 2009, Karen Mok released a cover album of classic Mandarin oldies entitled Hui Wei, which won her lots of acclaim and Golden Melody nominations for Best Mandarin Album and Best Mandarin Female Singer. A year later, the stylish Hong Kong singer/actress collaborates with producer Zhang Yadong again to come up with an original Mandarin album with a decidedly more touching, poetic, and subtle sound.
