Nelly Kim Furtado is a Canadian-Portugese singer who has released albums such as Whoa,Nelly (2000), Folklore(2003) and Loose(2006). She has sold well over 16 million albums to date the world over. Among her famous singles include I’m Like A Bird taken from her debut album Whoa,Nelly. The single peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Top 100 charts.

With her third album Loose released in 2006, Nelly teamed up with producer Timbaland. This album was commercially successful with pop hits such as Promiscuous which peaked and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 album chart. Another #1 single is Say it Right which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top 100 album. Overall Loose sold more than 9 million albums worldwide. In 2009 Nelly returns with a full length latin album entitled Mi Plan, the first single from this album is Manos Al Aire.
