出生於美國紐約，一位今年才二十二歲的女生Norah Jones，擁有超齡的才華與甜美溫柔的歌聲。二十歲不到便贏得著名爵士雜誌Down Beat學生爵士獎的最佳演唱及最佳編曲獎。她的出現讓久未有驚喜的爵士樂壇，灌注了一絲青春活力。 Norah曾在八弦吉他手Charlie Hunter的專輯Songs from the Analog Playground獻聲演唱過，也曾在Blue Note廠牌下發行個人EP。此次第一張個人專輯Come Away With Me，Norah展現她精湛的琴藝與迷人的嗓音，並邀請眾多中生代傑出音樂人-吉他手Bill Frisell、鼓手Brian Blade與貝斯手Lee Alexander擔任伴奏。專輯同名曲〈Come Away With Me〉為四重奏編制的抒情慢板歌曲，Norah溫熟的嗓音表現頗有大將之風，讓人不禁想起另一位爵士女伶Diana Krall；〈Seven Years〉則以靈魂樂作為基調，搭配藍調音樂裡慣用的空心吉他滑弦技巧，將爵士、靈魂、流行、民謠等元素完美結合，是首相當精采的作品。專輯另一焦點曲目〈Nightingale〉，為Norah個人的創作作品，以略帶迷幻的編曲方式，成功營造出夜幕低垂的氛圍裡，淡淡的憂愁感受。 Come Away With Me是張橫跨爵士、流行與民謠的精采佳作，Norah Jones讓廣大樂迷領會到原來爵士不只有傳統的即興搖擺，當它與其他樂種相融合時，也可以有這麼精采作品呈現。
