His latest album is entitled 'To The Sea" it tells the tale of the father leading the son to sea. "The sea itself is the subconscious, so its about going under the surface to understand yourself" as quoted by Jack Johnson himself. The whole album was recorded using 100% Solar Power at The Mango Tree at Hawaii, and Solar Powered Plastic Plant in LA, as a show of commitment to Jack Johnson's environmental stance.

The album packaging utilizes 100% recycle paper. The first single of the album is "You and Your Heart". Jack Johnson will be going on a tour of Europe and USA in June 2010 and will donate 100% of tour profits to an environmental, music and art organizations across the world.
