Metric’s unstoppable single, “Breathing Underwater” from 2012’s Juno award winning Synthetica album, still has legs as this well-timed (and well-titled) CHR remix proves. This extended mix has the same anthem-like quality as the original studio version, albeit with the rhythm track pumped to the max. Thankfully, it retains U2 The Joshua Tree-esque guitar motif, which happens to be the song’s secret weapon, beside the instantly memorable hook.
