來自蘇格蘭的The Fratellis，由負責吉他與主唱的Jon Fratelli、主奏貝斯的Barry Fratelli以及肩負鼓手+斑鳩琴+合聲的Mince Fratelli三人所組織而成，他們可不是兄弟檔，只有貝斯手才真正姓Fratelli。2005年正式成軍，憑藉優秀實力與現場迷人魅力，短短半年光景就獲得推出專輯之機會。2006年4月先發同名限量EP作『The Fratellis』，現在於eBay拍賣網站購買Copy版都還要花上30英鎊才能購得。誠如Jon所言：我們不像其他一般樂團唱著現實生活發生的種種，因為現實生活是殘酷的，令人想罵髒話的，我們的音樂就是要幫助你逃離這些庸擾的日子，讓你開心快活。NME更以兩頁全篇幅報導The Fratellis，並讚譽他們為「英國最佳新進樂團」，The Sunday Times也好評封上「The Next Big Thing」。
