We've spotted a new trend in music in Singapore. Live concerts are the hot new venue for popping the all-important question, "Will you marry me?".

Within the first half of August, there were two wedding proposals. An Irish couple got engaged at Westlife at the National Stadium on August 10.

Five days later at The Vamps concert, a fan brought his visibly puzzled girlfriend onstage. With a ring in hand, he got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore.

The encouraging audience squealed in support as they watched the significant event unfoldbefore them.

Things had come full circle for the couple. The Vamily and Vampette met by chance at The Vamp's first concert in Singapore in 2016. Hours earlier, the couple shared their love story during a meet-and-greet session with the lads.

That wasn’t the only surprise on that balmy night at Resorts World Sentosa.

A birthday cake was brought onstage to surprise Tristan, whose face lit up as he celebrated his 25 years on earth with fans in Singapore.

Surprises aside, The Vamps affirmed their fans' love for them with a dynamic performance. Our lion city was rocked with the clamour of guitar slams, banging drums and screaming fangirls.

At The Vamps' second concert in Singapore, fans were in for a real treat as Bradley, James, Connor, and Tristan worked the stage like Energiser bunnies.

Opening the show with a flourish, the British pop-rock quintet belted out“Just My Type”.The boys took audiences on a trip down memory lane to where it all began, “Wild Heart”, their wildly popular debut track of 2014.

Following these big hits were a string of recent releases including party head-bangers “We Don’t Care” and “All The Lies”.

Lead singer Bradley got to take a breather. When crowd classics “Somebody to You” and “Can We Dance” came on, Vampettes took over and sang with impassioned voices.

The boys ended the show on a hight with their tour headline track “All Night” — a fitting song to describe how the post-show adrenaline will keep Vampettespartying all night.
