What to do when I failed to go on air or audio broadcast is not working?
Check your network connection if you failed to go on air after two tries. If you have gone on air but do not see the microphone icon/ microphone is not responding, try going on air again.
Must I use a headset? What kind of headset do you recommend?
We recommend using original wired headset to ensure stable sound quality, as well as avoiding audio echoing.
What to do when my listeners cannot hear me?
Have your listeners updat to the latest KKBOX app, enabled DJ audio and refollowing you again. Should the problem persist ask your listener to visit Help Center for additional help.
How to create a playlist of songs to play when I go on air?
Refer to Create Playlist to create a playlist you can play when you go on air.
How to promote my Listen With?
After going on air, go to your profile and choose the share icon to share to SNS/ get the link to your Listen With.
Why is the music quieter during Audio Broadcast?
Music volume automatically lowers during Audio Broadcast and will be back to normal after you have ended. (Currently we do not provide the function of music volume control.)
What are the supported platforms for Audio Broadcast?
Audio Broadcast is currently available on KKBOX iOS/ Android only.
What should I do if the tracks are not playing by order?
Go to the playback screen and ensure you have disabled shuffle mode.
What can I do when I see inappropriate messages in the chatroom.
Long tap on the message and choose 'I don't want to see this' (messages from the sender will be hidden for the next 168 hours), or 'Delete'. The sender will not be notified about this.
Why can't I hear my own voice through the headset?
We do not support mic monitoring so you can only hear the music played. Please note there will have a 10-second delay during audio broadcast so do not worry if you do not get immediate response from your listeners.
What to do when listeners cannot hear any music?
KKBOX Premium Members can enjoy music and Audio Broadcast without restriction. Guest Members can only hear Audio Broadcast.
Members can listen up to 20 songs per day. After reaching the daily limit Members can only hear Audio Broadcast (and no music).
At the same time, songs avaiable to each region differs. So if your listener is from a different region (ie. KKBOX Japan), they may not be able to hear certain songs you have played.
If both you and your listeners are from the same region, but they are still having trouble hearing the music played, have the listener visit Help Center for additional help.
How to quickly re-enter the chatroom?
After going on air, you can quickly re-enter the chatoom by tapping the microphone icon on the KKBOX screen.
