Rain, including spring showers to summer typhoons, is the main source for water supply for Taiwanese household water usage and the replenishing of the reservoirs. The typhoons always bring heavy rainfall to Taiwan during their passing by, but also threaten Taiwan with its stormy weather. In particular, in recent years, due to global warming, the super powerful typhoons have been more frequent then the past and too powerful for Taiwan to bear.

During typhoon seasons, Christians and pastors have been praying together for Taiwan, pray to God for his mercy for Taiwan, and its people on the island. God bless Taiwan.

2018 is a true year of God's grace. God gave Taiwan plenty of water through powerful typhoons but dramatically turned them away before they could cause any substantial damage. His power and might, and his wonderful blessing, lead me to write this song to praise the Lord. It is the sixth day of God’s creation of the heaven and the earth, the seventh day the Sabbath, that God is the beginning and is eternal. He is the king for all. I offer my profound reverence and worship to Him for pleasing Him.
