D.N.A is the newly found music alliance founded and led by Lay Zhang in 2022. It’s first album ‘D.N.A’ will be released in 2023.
D.N.A’s first album is going to express the theme of ‘Love’. The genre of music integrates Pop, R&B and Hip Hop, which convey to the public the inclusive and diverse music spirit of D.N.A. Producer lineup of the album includes multi-platinum Grammy nominated producers Murda Beatz, BoogzdaBeast, Soolgothits, Yung Dza, and more.
‘D.N.A’ album cover is inspired by ‘A Dragon Holding Love’, which also highlights the theme of this new music alliance - ‘Love’.
D.N.A will be releasing its first two songs, ‘D.N.A Cypher I’ and ‘D.N.A Cypher II’ on 14 Feb 2023, Valentine's Day.
‘D.N.A Cypher I’ is performed by Lay, GALI, Boogie Wang, Yichun Shan and LIN. This record integrates R&B and Hip Hop. The record is produced by Grammy Award nominated multi-platinum record producer MurdaBeatz, BoogzDaBeast and FNZ.
‘D.N.A Cypher II’ is performed by Lay, Danko, Vanida and Victor. A little different from Cypher I, Cypher II is more classic Hip Hop. It also featured Murda Beatz’s iconic instrumental and drumbeats elements. Four musicians’ performance also fully demonstrates their unique vocal and creative characteristics. Traditional art is deeply rooted in our D.N.A.
