Clare Maguire is an irish singer-songwriter from Birmingham,England. Dropping out of school at the tender age 17, and worked tirelessly at various pubs, coffee shops and saving enough money to move England. She then started her career by posting most of her work on myspace and generating an amazing 1.5 million views.
By age of 20 she was signed to Polydor records – and began work on her solo album. Meeting up with great producers such as Rick Rubin and Jay-Z gave her the confidence she needed to pursue her career. Both producers commented that she was poised for stardom and exhumed star qualities.
Her influences includes a myriad of styles from folk rhythms, to celtic singing all the way to pop influenced tunes.
