Twin sisters, Low Shao Suan and Low Shao Ying, are professional classical
pianists as well as composers, songwriters and music arrangers from Singapore.
They have performed as soloists numerous times with the Singapore Symphony
Orchestra. A number of their original compositions have won international awards
and their works are performed worldwide. In August 2014, their debut album,
Romance in the City, featuring their original compositions, was released in China,
Taiwan and Hong Kong under the Chinese label, Rhymoi. This album received the
“2014 Artistic Performance Album of the Year” award at the 10th Hi-Fi Album
Awards 2014 in Guangzhou, China. The sisters launched their second album,
Music Diaries, in January 2016. Shao Suan and Shao Ying have also written
songs for Taiwanese pop singers such as Jolin Tsai (ইӧమᥝ), Vivian Hsu (Յᆽ
ጱ) and Suzanne Hsiao (ଛᐰጱ୵ᇫ), and Japanese pop singer, Mink (All My Life).
They are currently full members of the Composers and Authors Society of
Singapore (COMPASS), as well as co-founders of chamber music group, Ensemble
