On the back of their first-ever original album, MICapella Reloaded, released mid last year, MICappella have lined up a tour in Germany this March, covering three of the largest cities in the country, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. The band will be promoting their latest album and will represent Singapore at the Chinese-Bavaria Spring Festival 2017 held in Munich.
“We are very excited to head back to Germany for the second time performing at new cities such as Munich and Hamburg.
We certainly hope to wow the audiences with our energy and unique Singaporean identity, bridging the cultures between East and West”, said the Co-founder and vocal percussionist, Peter Huang.
MICappella has also been nominated in 3 categories in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) 2017. Hailed as the Grammies in the A Cappella scene, the annual CARA recognizes the best of recorded A Cappella music and is the only truly global a cappella recording awards.
