Christine And The Queens不認同Taylor Swift〈You Need To Calm Down〉?「Queer美學不是用來當賺錢的工具」

法國獨立創作女歌手Christine And The Queens，近日接受知名雜誌《Cosmopolitan》的訪問，因為不滿Taylor Swift的彩虹歌曲〈You Need To Calm Down〉裡運用大量的queer元素，加以批評，而引來大批Taylor Swift歌迷的反駁，認為Christine And The Queens過分解讀，讓原來的訪問失焦。

Christine And The Queens是少數樂壇中非常公開的queer（酷兒）。在2014年時，她公開自己是「泛性戀」，意思是不論對方的生理性別或性別認同為何，都有可能會對對方產生情愫的一種性傾向。她也表示自己是「性別酷兒」，不願意用單一的二分法來定義自己的性別認同。

訪問中，《Cosmopolitan》的記者問了Christine And The Queens 有關酷兒文化在現今越來越主流和商業化的看法，還有對像Taylor Swift 這類巨星創作歌曲〈You Need To Calm Down〉來宣揚LGBTQ+的美與獨特性的看法。Christine And The Queens則表示「很矛盾」，並且不太認同Taylor Swift 這種「酷兒商業化」的行為。

「我猜很多年輕男同志們，看到Taylor Swift 這首歌的MV會感到一種內在的壓抑。但我出道這五年來，可以感受到酷兒身份已經變成一種很光鮮的豪華配件，酷兒美學是可以用來賺錢的。加上主流文化需要酷兒，因為它代表著源源不絕的活力。但我認為，真正的酷兒美學是無法被當作商品販賣的。」

Christine And The Queens 接著分享自己的最新碟也曾被誤認為「酷兒商業化」。「在推出第二張專輯的時候，我把名字Christine改成Chris，結果很多人跟我說：『你這個營銷手法不錯！』這真的讓我很痛苦。這五年來我一直唱〈iT〉（歌曲裡提到Christine 想要擁有男性的身體，讓自己有個簡單的人生。）完全不是什麼營銷手法，而是我想要跳進未知的領域探索，然後大聲講出我想要表達的心底話。」

但Taylor 的粉絲不領情，認為Christine And The Queens 不了解Taylor Swift 有多支持酷兒族群。

「Christine And The Queens可以閉嘴嗎？Taylor 賣出的碟和體育館演唱會門票，都沒有刻意使用同志來做宣傳。不要再講一些你不知道的事情了。很多酷兒的粉絲因為她的支持而感到被認可，你專注自己就好。」

對此，雙方尚無正面回應。但支持Christine And The Queens的人也大有人在，認為Christine只是表達看法而已，並無惡意批評Taylor Swift 的創作。雙方粉絲各說各話，也讓原本的採訪失去重點。
