As a father of two, Hacken Lee has developed a newfound appreciation for children's songs and their simple, direct words and sentiments. Thus, for his latest Cantonese album Amongst The Forest, he has decided to make children's songs for adults. Working with Shu Man, Scott Fung, and Abrahim Chan, Hacken presents ten new songs that use straightforward, colloquial lyrics and melodies to capture everyday thoughts and emotions. The ballad singer challenges a new genre with his first plug "What is the Purpose of Life", a progressive rock number featuring a piercing guitar solo by Joey Tang and spot-on lyrics about livelihood grievances.
