Lena Mayer-landrut also known by her stage name Lena, is the german winner of this years 2010 eurovision singing contest. She was born in 1991 and her father was the ambassador to the Soviet Union. She won the song contest with her rendition of the song "satellite". The song satellite was written by an american Julie frost and Danish Song-writer John Gordon.

The song is about a woman in love. The international release date of her album My Cassette player is 7th of June and the album has already hit 2X platinum in Germany. The single has also sold more than 100 000 downloads in Germany alone. The first single of the album is Satellite.
