Pei-Chuan Tsai, earning her Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York, has been active in classical music industry. She views the connection between music and humans in a genuinely differentiating manner while bringing forth powerful and multi-dimensional imagination in her performance.

To share her insights gained from years of teaching, the book “24 Things Parents Should’ve Known about Piano Study – A Life’s Pursuit of Music Appreciation” was published by Cube Inc., a subsidiary of Cite’ Media Holding Group, and distributed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia in 2019.

Studying with Nina Svetlanova (a pupil of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus) and Alexander Korsantia (1st prize winner of 1995 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition) to immerse extensively in Russian technique and style, she has won the President Award (Top 5) in Manhattan School of Music. She further attended New Paltz Piano Festival (New York), Suolahti’s International Music Festival (Finland), and Bachfest Leipzig.

As both soloist and chamber musician, she has given concerts often and dedicated to piano
teaching since returning to Taiwan. She has collaborated with Mr. Kare Hanken, a Norwegian conductor, Mr. Kentaro Sato, a Japanese conductor/composer, Mr. Mark Graveson, a British conductor/cellist, Mr. Gregory Mayton, a Swedish violinist, Mr. Owen Farr, a British Tenor Horn musician, as well as Mr. Akio Koyama and Ms. Rie Koyama, both Japanese bassoonists. She also performed in National Theatre Hall with Deutsche Dresden dancers at Ballet Star
Gala.

To remedy the deficiencies in piano instructions in Taiwan, she made a series of CoreScore piano lesson videos while holding widely acclaimed private group tutoring sessions for children as well as workshops for hundreds of piano teachers to share her exclusive methodology in teaching, score analysis and hands-on piano play skills. She also gave lectures to parents with kids studying piano to advocate intuitive music understanding for piano students of the next generation.
