Jes Ebrahim Izaidin Bin Jes Izman earliest involvement with the environment began in 2000. He was a member of his former primary school, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Damansara, Malaysia environmental programs, such as Save the Sea Turtles (2000), Save the Asian Elephants (2001), Save the Sumatran Rhino (2002), Save the Wildcats (2003), Save the Primates (2004), Save the Sharks (2005) and Save the Fireflies (2006).

He was also represented Malaysia as the Country Representative (wakil negara) to the following International Environmental Conferences and Programs like UNEP Tunza International Children’s Environment Conference, USA (2004), World Summit on the Environment, Japan (2005), UNEP Tunza International Children’s Environment Conference, Malaysia (2006), UNEP 24th Governing Council Opening Ceremony, Nairobi; SEAYEN Ceremony, UN Climate Change Conference, Bali; Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU), Mongolia Desertification Research Program; Millennium Carbon Footprint Conference, Australia (2007), World Championship in Cooperation, Kampala, Uganda (2008), and UNEP Tunza International Youth Environment Conference, South Korea (2009).

He was also co-Founded an environmental NGO called the Tree Theatre Group that encourages children and youth to use creative expressions for eco-messages and organizes eco-campaigns, including held various positions in several organizations such as elected UNEP Tunza International Junior Board Member for 2005-2006 sessions and elected as Malaysia’s Children's Environmental Heritage Foundation Junior Board President (Eco Captain) for 2007-2009.

Activities:

•2006 UNEP Tunza ICCE, Putrajaya, Malaysia
•2009 YAWA 6th International Children's Conference on the Environment (ICCE) Malaysia
•2006 World Tree Day Campaign
•2009 Save Our Biodiversity Campaign
A Founding Advocate and Initiator for the proposed WORLD TREE DAY submitted to UNEP in February 2007. Represented 5 million Malaysian School Children in handing over their Memorandum for the World Tree Day to HE The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi at RIMUP National Integration Ceremony 26 August 2007.
Coordinated and Participated in the following tree-planting programs:
•February 2006 Garden School and Lavington Primary School, Nairobi, Kenya, River Bank Rehabilitation Tree Planting – 400 trees planted.
•December 2007 SMA5 Denpasar High School In Conjunction with UN Climate Change Conference Bali, Indonesia – 50 trees planted with fellow Malaysian and Indonesian students.
•June 2007 World Tree Day National level Campaign launch by Dato Sri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Malaysia Minister of Education – 30,000 trees planted in schools
•July 2007 Janda Baik Pahang in conjunction with World Environment Day – planted 100 trees with children from the local community
•May 2007 New York University, USA Class of 2007 Tree Planting Event – 700 trees a year planted around available space in New York City.
•May 2007 Nuur-Eman School Tree Planting Ceremony in conjunction with Environment Awareness Day.
•May 2007 Malaysian Permanent Mission to UN, New York in conjunction with 50 years nationhood celebration.
•May 2007 Malaysian Embassy Garden, Washington DC and Ambassador’s residence in conjunction with 50 years nationhood celebration.
•June 2008 Kampala, Uganda in conjunction with the World Environment Day
Represented The Tree Theatre Group at the YOUTH SPEAK OUT, A Youth Dialogue with Professor Jaap E Doek Chairman, UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in 2006.
Co-Produced two short Documentaries (Host, Cameraman, Story Concept) in Cooperation with Lara Ariffin of Novista in 2006 titled ‘Recycling’ and ‘Environmental Education’ for Tunza 2006 and presented at the Wild Asia Film Festival, Singapore in March 2007.
As a songwriter and musician he has released an Eco-Song album titled ‘Heal Our World’ in conjunction with the 2009 Tunza International Children and Youth Environment Conference, Deajeon, South Korea with such songs as:
Tears of Trees
This song was first sung at the 2006 UNEP Tunza International Childrens Conference on the Environment at Putrajaya and later became the United Nation’s One Billion Tree Planting campaign song. The song also was performed at the 2007 United Nation Environment Programme 24th Governing Council Conference In Nairobi, Kenya. The song has also been distributed by the Malaysia’s Ministry of Education to 10,000 schools nationwide.
Heal Our World
Dedicated to the UN Climate Change Conference and performed at the Seayen UNFCCC, Bali.
Empty Earth
A song describing ‘mass extinction’ caused by extreme climate change. Dedicated to the UN’s 2010 Year of Biodiversity.etened Condensed Tunes For The Broken Hearted in 1997 with songs like “Sunflower” and “Mr Alien” that generated a lot of air play.
