"Whalecircus" is a personal music project by Li Xingyu with a diverse range of musical styles. The live performances are varied, featuring a full band lineup of electric and string instruments, as well as a keyboard string trio, with all members of the band being first-rate professional musicians in China.

Through his creative works, Li Xingyu hopes to convey the following idea: "I will never set limits on myself. I hope that everyone can find their own reflections in my music, those familiar and intricate details of life, weaving together to form this world. What I hope people hear is the voice of a real person speaking to themselves and to everyone, with words that come from the heart and are shared by all living beings."
