RYOTA is a Japanese-born Malaysian singer-songwriter and music producer. RYOTA made his solo debut in 2012 with singles like “Yoki” (feat Like Silver), “Anti-Clockwise” and “Thank You And Take Care”. His stylish blend of catchy melodies and intricate yet tasteful arrangements/productions has caught the attentions of many listeners all around Malaysia.

RYOTA has since then gained widespread attention and was invited to perform in numerous shows and festivals such as Little Taiwan Calling Music Festival, Tian Kong Music Festival, Southern Gate Music Festival, Dong Tai Du Music Festival, and Layan Fest. In 2017, RYOTA also released his first self-produced EP titled “Hillarys” in Australia and was well received by radio stations such as Triple J Unearthed. In 2018, RYOTA also participated in the popular Chinese electronic music talent reality show “Rave Now” (即刻電音).

In 2019, RYOTA’s “大⼈兒歌” was nominated for Top 10 Singles of 2019 by Freshmusic Awards. In year 2020, RYOTA won Best Composer with his single “逃啊逃啊” and also took home the award for Best Arranger with “身份不明” at the 2020 AIM Chinese Music Awards.

RYOTA is currently working on his full-length album, which is expected to be released this year.
