With the success of his critically EP released last year titled Who I Am, Reshmonu, now known as Resh, is back with his third single, Trouble. The single that features a magnificent indie pop singer from India, Monica Dogra, is hoped to be as successful as Half The Man. Despite the differences admitted Resh, he and Monica gelled almost immediately as the passion of music flourish for both of them. Monica that suggested by the record company in India is said to be thrilled and excited when she was approach to have collaboration with Resh. When asked about the American of India origin, Monica on the differences on music between them, Resh told that she is a poetry singer that emphasize on poetry and lyrics. Her songs were mainly spoken rather than sang, as she is a genius poet. Her indie band formed from 2007, Shaa’ir + Func, has released 4 albums and the recent one released early this year titled ‘Spit’. Oozed with numerous talents, Monica has been on the silver screen as cameo for ‘Rock On!!‘ along side Bollywood mega actor such as Arjun Rampal and Farhan Akhtar in 2008. Trouble was first recorded with only Resh’s voice, but when he listen it back,he thinks that it would be lovely if a female singer would join in. They both recorded the song separately, Resh in Malaysia and Monica in India, they both felt the chemistry between them. The song rich in R&B vibes is one of the sensual songs written by Resh. It tells listeners how two lovers who are deeply in love longing for love from each other. Added to this wonderful collaboration, Trouble’s music video was shoot for three days in Mumbai, explores the dancing talents for both of the singers. Resh gone through the 3-week intense dance practice for the music video as he had envisioned what the video would be. He directed the music video with the help from the Mumbai’s high profile team to visualize the idea. The ever-changing style Resh, changes his style for this latest single. When asked, he really doesn’t mind to change his look as long as it suits the look and feel of the song that he is delivering. The song, which was released in India first, then Indonesia seems to gain a lot of requests and attention. This shows that Resh is getting more popular among the region.
